- Bias: When an article is one-sided and both sides of an issue are not fairly represented, it is biased. When the article attempts to represent more than one side of an issue, it is objective.
- Fact: Something which can be proven.
- Opinion: The author’s personal feeling about a subject. If a statement can be debated or argued, it is an opinion.
- Intended Audience: Who the author hopes will read/react to the article. Give specific details and do not respond with ‘the general public’
